Anne Wallace & Ryan Bohle rang in the new year by becoming man and wife. The Bohle’s were married January 2, 2010 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Paducah, Kentucky. Parents of the couple are Dr. & Mrs. Jesse Wallace and Dr. & Mrs. Chip Bohle of Paducah.
Fr. Brian Roby performed the ceremony and mass. The church alter of the historic cathedral was filled with ivory poinsettias and Christmas trees adorned with elegant lights. Anne was stunning in her gown. She carried an elegant bouquet of ivory roses and calla lilies. Her bridesmaids wore floor length black dresses and carried burgundy calla lilies. Ryan and the groomsmen wore black tuxedos. Anne’s four brothers all participated in the wedding. As a special touch, the Bohles’ administered communion to their guests. Following the “I do’s” a reception was held in the Parish Hall. Linen tablecloths covered the tables and the chairs were covered in white and ivory sashes and bows. Stunning, huge floral arrangements of lime green and ivory decorated the room. A delicious buffet meal was enjoyed followed by plenty of dancing with a live band. As a special surprise, Anne’s band of brothers sang a special song for the newlyweds. The stunning cake featured replicas of the bride’s dress. Delicate handmade sugar flowers adorned the cake top. A photo booth and scrapbooking table allowed guests to create a personal message for the couple. As the evening ended, guests lined the sidewalks with lively sparklers as Anne and Ryan made their getaway to their white stretch limousine and then set out into the night as Mr. & Mrs. Ryan Bohle. The couple is attending medical school.
