Zack & Ashley Browning

Ashley Nicole Hunerkoch of Metropolis, Illinois and Zackery Lon Browning of Paducah, Kentucky were united in marriage on Saturday, October 27, 2007, at 6:00 p.m. at Community Christian Church in Metropolis, Illinois.  Pastor Brent Logeman of Faith Lutheran Church in Metropolis officiated the ceremony.  Music was provided by Ms. Connie Hefner of Perks, Illinois, friend of the bride; and soloist, Ms. Charla Korte, aunt of the bride.
 
Ashley is the daughter of Phillip and Sherry Hunerkoch of Metropolis, Illinois; and the granddaughter of Bill and Florence Korte and Florence Gower, all of Metropolis, and Wayne Hunerkoch of Muncie, Indiana.  Zackery is the son of Cheryl Browning and the late Lon Browning of Christopher, Illinois; and the grandson of the late Leslie & Mildred Davie; and the late Wathan & Martha Browning.
 
The matron of Honor was Ms. Danielle Walters of Evansville, Indiana, friend of the bride.  Junior bridesmaid was Miss Emma Korte of Metropolis, Illinois, cousin of the bride.  The best man was Tracy Estes of Energy, Illinois, friend of the groom.  The flowergirl was Miss McKinnley Korte, cousin of the bride; ushers were Adam Hunerkoch, brother of the bride, and Dustin Korte, cousin of the bride; candlelighters were Dalton and Chase Korte, cousins of the bride; and the guest register was attended by Ms. Christina Hunerkoch, cousin of the bride; all of Metropolis, Illinois.
 
A dinner and reception was held immediately following in the activity recreation center of the church.  Servers were Beth Korte, aunt of the bride, Christina Hunerkoch, cousin of the bride, and Caroline Bremer, Lisa Bremer, Betty Brewer, Patsy Foss, Kay Rottmann and Peggy Cromeenes, friends of the bride, all of Metropolis, Illinois.  The cake was done by Ms. Heather Rottmann of Metropolis, Illinois.  Music was provided by Joe Weitlauf of Paducah, Kentucky. Photography was provided by Limelight Studio of Metropolis, Illinois.
 
Ashley has a Master's in Physical Therapy from the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky, and is employed at Lourdes Hospital as a physical therapist.  Zackery has a Bachelor's degree in Christian studies from St. Louis Christian College in St. Louis, Missouri, and serves as the pastor of Reidland Christian Church in Paducah, Kentucky.
 
After honeymooning in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, the couple resides in Paducah, Kentucky.
